Sunday!

It's a quiet wet day in Cardiff today! Jell is still offline because the phone lines are down and she's gone to sleep now. Electricity has been restored though.

I'm thinking of going to Ikea to get a bookcase and CD rack. They would help to keep my things in place, though I would have to change the layout of the room. Not a major problem because a lot of the stuff to be put away is currently lying in boxes.

I might need to get a new rice cooker. The one that Jui gave me is not non-stick and a lot of rice goes to waste. It also only keeps things warm for a few hours, and if I could get one that kept food warmer for longer, I could have rice for breakfast!

One recipe I thought of was having various veg with the rice and hotdog sausages cut into small chunks maybe with chorizo for added spice. It would almost be like paella - perhaps I could put some prawns in there too for a nourishing and healthy meal?

I'm thinking also of moving out though so wonder if it's worth the effort. Somewhere just as cheap, but quieter, without a pillock for a housemate, and nearer work. I could take better advantage of the sports & social club if I did.

Jell & I have decided on 9th June for a wedding. She will check with the church to see if it's available on that date.

Workwise, I'm all energised again after my trips abroad. I have a few new ideas that I'd like to put into practice.

Dad & Ann are visiting Cardiff briefly soon. Bob sent me an email congratulating me on my engagement which was nice of him. I will reply later today. I also need to phone Howard and email David too with the news. I've also booked my plane tickets to Paris to visit Dad & Ann ove Christmas. It will probably be quite cold over Christmas (maybe snowy??!!), but that's should be no problem with a nice pair of long-johns!

I guess lots is happening in my life right now!
